XTOUCH @ Distree Africa 2014



DISTREE AFRICA is the ultimate professional networking event for senior executives from the consumer electronics, digital device and ICT products retail channel in the AFRICA region. XTOUCH's Managing Director, Mr. Robert Liang had a presentation "The New Normal Future Trends of Smartphone & Devices" on LIVE @ DISTREE session on the first day of DISTREE AFRICA 2014. It's a story about how the electronics changed from the feature mobiles to smart mobiles and sharing the marketing analysis of smart devices. "It's all about the masses… It's all about the Emerging Markets ie. The African World. It's all about the Value Smartphones becoming mainstream." said Robert.





As the most important part of DISTREE AFRICA 2014, one-on-one meeting is happening all the time. XTOUCH had more than 30 meetings during the 3 days there. The most powerful retailers from all EAST AFRICA including Redington, FDL, Text Book, Jumia.co.ke are in the list. It's a really helpful opportunity to extend XTOUCH's channel and sell products in more different areas.





Introduction: Over 10 years in Africa in the telecommunication & IT industry. Previous to XTOUCH, served 7 years at ZTE Corporation as the MD of South Africa office. With abundant experience and understanding of African market, Robert Liang helped to set up the first 3G network in East Africa, national backborn network for Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda. Now Robert is leading the XTOUCH African team and bring the fastest growing smart device brand into the market.
